About the Role
We are looking for a Product/Application Engineer to join a growing company specializing in hydronic radiant heating solutions. This pivotal role involves delivering technical expertise and shaping product designs to enhance the application and performance of hydronic products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop products that meet market objectives in collaboration with sales and manufacturing teams.
- →Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including bills of material, product drawings, and application notes.
- →Ensure all products and installations comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- →Develop, manage, and track project timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- →Conduct product testing and failure investigations to identify, diagnose, and resolve product issues.
- →Source required components, verifying they meet technical specifications and cost targets.
- →Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure proper product documentation is followed and products meet quality standards.
- →Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.
- →Support the sales team by performing application analyses and preparing technical proposals.
- →Travel as needed to supplier and customer sites for technical support and presentations.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- ✓A minimum of three to five years of experience in product or application engineering, preferably within an HVAC or plumbing company.
- ✓Experience with hydronic systems is highly preferred.
- ✓Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
- ✓Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- ✓Familiarity with testing equipment, diagnostic tools, and relevant software for performance analysis.
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ✓Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team environment.
