About the Role
We are looking for a Production Support Developer to join our Group Technology and Operations team. This role involves investigating production incidents, fixing defects, and supporting development for change requests in a global banking infrastructure supporting 19 countries.
Key Responsibilities
- →Investigate production incidents for root cause
- →Fix defects raised in production environment
- →Support development for change requests (CRs)
- →Update Jira and Confluence with change details
- →Coordinate with peer developers and Platform team for solution and code reviews
- →Coordinate with testing team to ensure defects are addressed on priority
- →Participate in daily defect triage meetings, code handover sessions, and Agile ceremonies
- →Ensure code is merged regularly to git
- →Take end-to-end ownership of production defect fixing until release to production
- →Guide and manage offshore team
- →Interface with development teams, business teams, Level 2 teams, Shared services teams, and other teams to achieve desired results
Requirements
- ✓7 years of experience in production support and development
- ✓Strong skills in JAVA, Spring Boot, Linux, RDBMS, and IntelliJ
- ✓Experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Sonarcube, and Shell Scripts
- ✓Knowledge of ReactJS and web development
- ✓Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage offshore resources
