About the Role
Experian's Global Security Office is seeking an Information Security Controls Automation Specialist to join a team focused on evaluating and testing security controls in both on-premises and cloud environments. This role will automate security control reviews, blending cybersecurity governance, risk management, and automation engineering to enhance control assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze and automate existing manual test steps for assessing operating effectiveness of security controls in both cloud and on-prem environments
- →Develop automated control mechanisms such as scripts, APIs, and compliance dashboards, integrating validation logic into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- →Enable continuous control monitoring by developing reusable logic and ensuring automated controls produce evidence to support control assessments
- →Develop dashboards to visualize compliance status and resolve platform integration errors
- →Analyze false positives and drive remediation of those indicators
- →Maintain a control automation backlog and document all automated control logic, control mappings, and system configurations
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
- ✓Experience with automation engineering and scripting
- ✓Knowledge of cloud security controls and on-premises security tools
- ✓Ability to integrate validation logic into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- ✓Experience with developing compliance dashboards and visualizing compliance status
- ✓Familiarity with continuous control monitoring and evidence collection for control assessments
