About the Role
We are looking for a Search Product Manager to join our Discovery pillar at Faire. This role will own product development of our algorithms powering search, the largest discovery surface by order volume, helping independent retailers find brands and products their customers will love.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and execute on a strategy that takes our search algorithms to the next level
- →Refine our breakdown of key search query segments and identify novel opportunities for improvements
- →Refine our suite of offline and online metrics to better understand the retailer’s search experience
- →Evaluate tradeoffs between technical solutions across velocity, scale, cost, and modularity
- →Work with and learn from a broad range of world-class leaders across engineering, product management, data science, design, and operations
- →Make decisions alongside company founders and the CEO
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- ✓7+ years of experience in product at a high-growth tech startup or as a startup founder with experience working on complex Search systems
- ✓Experience building high-scale products through state-of-the-art engineering and data science
- ✓Regular use of ML/AI to solve business problems and knowledge of recent advancements in the field
- ✓Extraordinarily fast learner with natural curiosity and intellectual horsepower
- ✓Relentlessly resourceful and creative problem-solver
- ✓Passionate with a positive energy that other people draw upon
- ✓Deeply cares about developing products and solutions that create the best experience for customers
