About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will drive process and policy amendments necessary for worldwide execution on financial standards. You will work with accounting coordinators on reporting and accounting matters, playing an important role in the monthly closing process.
Key Responsibilities
- →Prepare booking of assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses entries by compiling and analysing accounting information
- →Analyse the reasonability of trial balances’ variances
- →Analyse consolidated information for the group, including Balance Sheet and P&L Fluxes, providing support in financial statements’ disclosures
- →Comply with legal requirements
- →Participate in meetings and guarantee appropriate progress
- →Prepare new accounting policies and procedures for the group
- →Offer support to colleagues in specific accounting operations
- →Guarantee that controls are carried out, recorded and are working efficiently and promptly
- →Provide support on the external audit
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor or master degree in accounting, management, economics or auditing
- ✓At least 3 years of functional experience in accounting, auditing or consolidation
- ✓Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP knowledge is a plus
- ✓Previous Experience in Consolidation either from a preparer or auditor’s point of view is a plus
- ✓Strong drive for results, including proactive problem resolution skills in delivering stringent deadlines
- ✓Proficiency in conveying information efficiently and across departments
- ✓Outstanding writing aptitude and capability to organize presentations and papers
- ✓Fluent in English, both written and spoken is mandatory
- ✓Excellent team player with the ability to interact with different departments
- ✓Considerable knowledge of spreadsheet software and basic computer systems, Microsoft AX and SAP BPC will be a plus
- ✓Demonstrated ability to perform accurate numeric calculations
- ✓Excellent communicator
- ✓Dynamic, with high sense of responsibility and autonomy.
