Ko wai mātou – About us Kia ora.  We’re Foodies.  You know New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square right?  That’s us!  With 300+ stores and over 24,000 Foodies across Te Ika-a-Maui, our North Island Co-op has the privilege of helping New Zealanders get more out of life.  Locally owned, we reflect the communities we serve, and we celebrate our people - our taonga, every day for being uniquely them.   Responsible for identifying new site opportunities for future stores, development and design of new stores, management, maintenance and refurbishment of existing stores, plus seismic remediation, refrigeration upgrades, energy efficiency and maintenance, the Foodies Property team are focussed on supporting members and the co-op to deliver for our customers every day.   Te Tūranga – About the role You’ll be part of a future focused Property Team responsible for leading and executing the store development plans.  You’ll proactively identify solutions that enable new thinking in a retail environment and add value to our brands by creating a first-class shopping experience.   To do this, some of what you’ll do is: ·       Work with the Design Manager to develop and prepare store retail layout & fitout concept design packages for new developments and refurbishments of existing stores. ·       Collaborate with key project stakeholders across the business to ensure design outcomes align with broader initiative, strategic goals, objectives and best practice delivery. ·       Actively monitor and audit consultants and suppliers design and construction documentation packages throughout the delivery stages of the project. ·       Assist with forecasting project timeframes for new developments and refurbishment of existing stores from concept design to construction and site administration. ·       Lead, manage, develop and prepare concept design documentation packages in Autodesk Revit.   Ngā painga - What we offer We’re committed to providing awesome experiences for our people, including offering a range of benefits: ·       Free carparking - we’ve got over 1,000 carparks including EV plugs ·       Southern Cross health insurance ·       Onsite café with subsidised meals, mini mart, 5% discount at our retail stores ·       Flexible working options, a day off on your birthday, long service leave ·       Inhouse learning and development programmes and courses, flu vaccinations, and social network groups (we call them Tribes).   He kōrero mōu - About you As an experienced Store Designer from a retail or commercial environment, you’ll be a self starter, able to manage tasks within assigned processes and able to organise your workload efficiently.  FMCG experience is highly desirable.   You’ll also have: ·       Diploma in Architecture or a related field ·       AutoCAD design skills and Revit experience preferred ·       Extensive experience using CAD Applications ·       Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programmes ·       Proven ability to prepare design alternatives and present these to key stakeholders ·       Detailed working knowledge of applicable legislation   We’re interested in your diverse experiences, your strengths and how adaptable you are to learn and grow.  If you don't meet every requirement, but feel this role could be for you, we’d still love to hear from you!   Experience awesome.
