About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join Forerunner, a company focused on helping government agencies adapt to climate change through powerful software solutions. This role will support our sales teams by identifying high-potential government customers and executing outbound strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify high-potential government customers and execute outbound strategies to connect them to Forerunner
- →Move leads through the funnel, arranging meetings with an Account Executive
- →Develop and lead campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified calls
- →Partner with Account Executives to build strategies and prospect into designated accounts
- →Effectively work through lead lists, meeting/exceeding SLAs, and support weekly reporting
Requirements
- ✓1-3 years of experience in business development or a similar role
- ✓Demonstrable proficiency solving ambiguous problems
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Attention to detail and ability to manage prospect data accurately
- ✓Strong interest in climate adaptation and technology
