About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated animation programmer to join our talented team at Frontier, an independent video game developer and publisher. You will work with our experienced animation programming team to create technology that improves how we create and use animations in our games.

Key Responsibilities

→Working with Animators and Gameplay Programmers to deliver high quality authored and procedural animation systems.
→Expanding and improving animation technology within the Cobra engine.
→Profiling & optimising our Animation Systems across both the engine and game.
→Prioritising, planning and managing your time with minimal oversight.
→Mentoring team members.

Requirements

✓An ability to communicate effectively with team members.
✓A proactive and independent level of problem solving.
✓An ability to give and receive constructive feedback in order to strive for continuous improvements.
✓Working knowledge of animation systems, handling complex locomotion and naturalistic behaviours.
✓Experience creating physics driven or procedural animation systems that work alongside authored assets.
✓Good modern C++ programming skills.
