About the Role
GTI is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their production team in Las Vegas. This role involves coordinating with leadership to direct daily processes and long-term targets of the production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee strategic planning and vision for facility plant operations
- →Manage facility activities working closely with departmental managers
- →Partner with the General Manager on budgeting and data analysis
- →Develop and produce reporting to illustrate business trends
- →Manage and maintain company culture
- →Participate in developing and implementing rules and procedures
- →Improve employee skills, knowledge, and morale
- →Implement and maintain facility and equipment preventative maintenance
- →Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- →Respond to emergency situations as needed
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, preferred
- ✓5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
- ✓Direct management of 30+ individuals in a manufacturing setting
- ✓Consumer Packaged Good experience preferred
- ✓Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, certifications a plus
- ✓Exposure to horticulture and/or plant science
- ✓Can-do attitude and ability to adapt quickly
- ✓Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓High level of critical thinking
- ✓Professionalism and integrity
- ✓Understanding of Medical Marijuana laws and regulations
- ✓Must pass background checks
- ✓Compliance with industry regulations
