About the Role

The PMO Finance Lead will ensure financial governance and strategic alignment across the project portfolio. This role manages budgets, resourcing, and cost forecasting while partnering with Project Managers and the PMO to monitor project health and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

→Own month-end financial processes, including accruals, actuals reconciliation, and variance analysis.
→Develop and maintain project and portfolio-level budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
→Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior stakeholders and PMO leadership.
→Work closely with the PMO to ensure the project delivery framework is implemented and governance standards are followed.
→Monitor adherence to stage-gate processes, RACI, and reporting requirements.
→Collaborate with Project Managers to track cost, schedule, and overall health of projects.
→Partner with PMO leadership to align financial planning with organisational strategy.
→Act as a trusted advisor to PMs and senior leadership on financial and governance matters.

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CIMA preferred).
✓Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management within a PMO or project environment.
✓Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control in multi-project portfolios.
✓Familiarity with governance frameworks and project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, hybrid).
✓Proficiency in financial systems and project management tools (e.g., ERP, Power BI, JIRA, THOR).
✓Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
