About the Role
Join Inter's Treasury team to support the management of market risk exposures for the bank's ALM book. This role focuses on monitoring and mitigating maturity, index, and currency mismatches.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the management of interest rate and currency risk exposures for the ALM book.
- →Execute hedge operations using derivative instruments according to Treasury guidelines.
- →Support the management of the public securities portfolio for the ALM book through analysis, monitoring, and trade execution.
- →Perform pricing of financial instruments used in Treasury operations.
- →Maintain, enhance, and develop market risk management controls ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- →Contribute to the preparation of management reports and materials for internal committees (Treasury, ALCO).
- →Develop, maintain, and automate data extraction, processing, and analysis routines using Python and SQL.
- →Support the organization and maintenance of Treasury and ALM databases, policies, controls, and documentation.
- →Interact with departments such as Risk, Accounting, Control, Compliance, and Technology, supporting analyses and recurring demands.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
- ✓Interest in a career in finance.
- ✓Knowledge of Python, R, or another programming language for data analysis.
- ✓Advanced Excel skills, including model building, pivot tables, sensitivity analysis, and data consolidation.
- ✓Analytical and proactive profile, with ease in handling quantitative topics.
- ✓Advanced English proficiency.
- ✓Desirable
- ✓Previous experience in banks, treasury, risk, or finance.
- ✓Knowledge of SQL.
