About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. This role involves leading audits under the supervision of the Head of Audit for the Media Business Segment and contributing to relationship management with senior stakeholders. The position requires expertise in Indian accounting standards and audit methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as Lead Auditor on audits according to the Annual Plan and deliver impactful audit reports
- →Understand specific risks and controls to conduct risk-based audits
- →Develop Terms of Reference and test plans to address audit objectives
- →Engage professionally with business stakeholders to facilitate audit delivery
- →Manage relationships with audit team, senior business leaders, and functional leaders
- →Apply subject matter knowledge to audit work
- →Manage audit fieldwork, business communications, reporting, and close-out
- →Deliver high-quality, well-written audit reports
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Internal Audit, Big-4 audit firm, or internal audit function of a large multinational organization
- ✓Chartered Accountant qualification
- ✓Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST Accounting, Companies Act 2013, and other relevant statutes
- ✓Proficiency with SAP ERP, presentation skills, and analytical mindset
- ✓Experience with tools like Tableau and Power BI preferred
- ✓Knowledge of SQL and Python advantageous
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility in style and approach, desire to learn and upskill
- ✓Commitment to excellence in audit delivery and experience improving processes
- ✓Proven track record in delivering audits, business projects, or line work
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Ability to manage, guide, motivate, and steer a team
