About the Role
We are looking for a Bilingual Licensed Customer Service Agent to join our team at Kin, a remote-first insurance company serving homeowners across multiple states. This role involves supporting homeowners with their insurance policies, payments, and coverage questions while delivering empathetic service in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Handle high-volume inbound and outbound customer interactions via phone, chat, and email
- →Process homeowners insurance policies, endorsements, payments, and refunds accurately
- →Educate policyholders on coverage details and policy changes
- →Partner with customers’ banks and lenders for documentation and compliance
- →Navigate multiple internal systems to resolve customer inquiries efficiently
- →Identify process improvements to enhance customer experience
- →Complete a mandatory 10-week training program
Requirements
- ✓Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines insurance license
- ✓6+ months customer service experience in P&C, specifically home insurance
- ✓Experience in a high-volume call center environment
- ✓Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) proficiency
- ✓Hands-on experience with homeowners insurance policies
- ✓Ability to explain policy coverage, billing, and underwriting requirements
- ✓Comfort with multiple systems and tools
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Strong active listening and communication skills
