About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team at Loopio. This role involves designing, building, and supporting all aspects of our platform infrastructure, enabling our software development and machine learning/data teams to deliver cutting-edge features with high speed and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

→Build, maintain, scale, and harden AWS infrastructure
→Improve the security posture of Loopio’s infrastructure
→Collaborate with InfoSec, Architect, and Engineering teams
→Automate manual tasks to focus on improving security posture and launching new features
→Participate in strategic platform and technology decisions
→Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance
→Join Incident Response and on-call rotations
→Improve incident response and disaster recovery processes

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in a high-growth agile software development environment
✓Focus on automation and reducing toil
✓Leadership within the team, expressing candor & curiosity
✓Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively
✓Experience with AWS and AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route 53, VPCs, etc) and Azure
✓Strong understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
✓Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
✓Solid understanding of best practices for delivery of cloud-based managed applications
✓Experience with containerization technology (Docker, ECS, Fargate)
✓Experience building and supporting high-performance / high-availability platforms with a microservices architecture
✓Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
✓Experience with centralized configuration management tools, such as Chef and Ansible
