Are you passionate about driving high value solutions to your clients and want to lead a team in a company that believes in Integrity, Competence, Value and Fun?   We are looking for an energetic and motivated Solutions Architect for our Toronto branch. In this role you will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to develop solutions that solve business challenges while creating desired outcomes! You will not only play an integral role to deliver cutting edge solutions but also work with Account Managers to support projects and optimize sales opportunities in key accounts.  A Day in the Life: • Working with customers and internal stakeholders, defining customer solutions, and delivering engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements • Continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team • Design and Implement • Ensure technology designs and implementations solve clients’ requirements and challenges • Develop complete customer-focused technology solutions for current and new service offerings, considering all aspects of architecture including business outcomes and technical requirements, sizing, infrastructure, data protection, security and recovery items • Create relevant documentation as required including conceptual design, logical and physical designs, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information • Collaborate with other team members to develop and enhance deliverables • Pre-sales Activities • Provide pre-sales technical assistance, demonstrations, and product education as required • Meet with clients to determine needs and/or identify problem areas • Develop estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals which outline professional services required to meet client requirements • Trusted Advisor • Engage with clients to build long term relationships that further business value for both the client and Long View Systems • Analyze complex requirements and develop IT strategies and multi-technology solutions that are aligned with industry-accepted best practices • Stay abreast of architectural and industry changes, especially in the areas of Cloud What You Bring: • 10+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in at least 2 technology areas (data center, cloud, storage, virtualization, server, etc.) • 5+ years preferred experience with HPE HPC products and solutions • Experience with HPE Greenlake, HPE Storage Solutions, Data Fabric Software, Zerto • 5+ years of industry experience multi-technology solutions through diverse business and technical consulting • Nice to have 2+ years of experience designing solutions relating to Microsoft technologies including Azure, CoPilot, Office 365, M365 and SharePoint • Proven pre-sales capabilities and technological leadership experience • Proven ability to understand and capture complex business requirements to create technical solutions • Familiarity with IT architecture principles and industry frameworks to work within the approved Long View Systems architecture frameworks and methodologies What Makes You Extra Awesome: • HP ASE (Accredited Solutions Expert) certification Why Work at Long View? • Great people and culture • Career growth – Permanent staff positions, paid training, career life planning, and relocation and travel opportunities • Interesting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologies • Flexible environment – A workplace that values the importance of flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness and wellness Want to learn more about our culture and life at Long View?
