About the Role
We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our growing People team at MaintainX, the world's leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our People Ops function runs smoothly as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and manage employee lifecycle processes across geographies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- →Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries on policies, benefits, and other People Ops matters
- →Support employee relations matters by coordinating documentation and advising on appropriate next steps
- →Support benefits administration and total rewards operations, including enrollments and vendor coordination
- →Maintain high data integrity across HR systems and support reporting and audits
- →Review, update, and operationalize policies and procedures
- →Partner with HRBPs, Talent, Finance, and Legal to implement people programs
- →Coordinate and support offboarding processes
- →Act as an escalation point and operational backup for the People Ops Manager
- →Contribute to team effectiveness by mentoring junior team members
- →Lead or support ad-hoc People Ops projects
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- ✓4–6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles
- ✓Strong working knowledge of employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, and employment compliance
- ✓Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently
- ✓High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Comfort working with HRIS, payroll systems, and reporting tools
- ✓Collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead when needed
