About the Role
We are looking for a People Partner to join our dynamic and international People team at SumUp. This role will serve as the strategic HR business partner to the leadership and teams, providing daily guidance on employee relations and executing the people agenda within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Onboarding leadership to guide and coach on engagement, performance management, and team development.
- →Provide expertise in EU/BG labour law and employee relations, ensuring fair and transparent processes.
- →Drive people initiatives that strengthen culture, recognition, and feedback across high-volume teams.
- →Support the leadership team in defining optimal team structures and performance management practices.
- →Identify and address talent and culture challenges with data-driven insights and empathy.
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops, Talent, and L&D to improve systems and practices.
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience as a People Partner or in a similar HRBP role.
- ✓Experience with HRIS tools - WorkDay, Greenhouse, etc.
- ✓Moderate talent and performance management expertise, with Bulgarian employment law, compensation, and eNPS.
- ✓Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to be transparent and direct.
- ✓Strong coaching skills and strong prioritization skills.
- ✓Analytical, curious, and resilient - able to navigate ambiguity with confidence.
- ✓Fluent English and a sense of humour plus ability to connect with people quickly.
