About the Role
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join SumUp's team in Brazil. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and compliant HR processes as the company continues to grow globally.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage People Operations processes including payroll support, vacations, leaves, and employee offboarding
- →Own termination and vacation workflows, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments
- →Serve as a key point of contact for CLT-related questions and internal policies
- →Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, Tech, and People Partners to ensure alignment
- →Maintain data integrity across HR systems like Workday and Apdata
- →Produce reports and metrics to support decision-making
- →Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- →Mentor junior team members
Requirements
- ✓Extensive experience in HR Operations covering payroll, vacations, terminations, and compliance
- ✓Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor law (CLT)
- ✓Hands-on experience with HR systems and payroll interfaces
- ✓Strong analytical skills with Excel or Google Sheets
- ✓Ability to work with high autonomy and attention to detail
- ✓Clear communication skills
- ✓Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive matters
- ✓Collaborative mindset
- ✓English proficiency
