The MongoDB Database Experience team is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Developer Tools Team. This role focuses on building tools that allow users to interact with their data and understand the health and performance of their MongoDB deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build tools for MongoDB Atlas, our database as a service offering
- →Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure business continuity
- →Work on products like mongosh, MongoDB MCP Server, and MongoDB VSCode extension
Requirements
- ✓At least 4 years of experience working on backend systems
- ✓Experience with the design and architecture of modern, scalable, high availability web applications
- ✓Experience working with databases
- ✓Willingness to take on frontend tasks or full-stack development with a bias towards backend
- ✓Enjoy collaboration and being part of a team
- ✓Approachable, curious, and intellectually honest
