About the Role

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our team at MongoDB. This role involves guiding customers and partners to design and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. You will work closely with field partner leaders and play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

→Work with advisory consulting partners on reference architectures, patterns, and technical blueprints for MongoDB
→Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions and bridge this to technical value
→Partner with account teams to ensure success in accounts ranging from startups to large enterprises
→Support sales with activities such as technical discovery, demos, proof of value, and documentation
→Translate technical concepts and patterns into business benefits for management and executives
→Act as a liaison, gathering feedback from the field to relay back to the Product Management team
→Drive demand through participation in industry trade-shows and account-based marketing events
→Demonstrate resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges
→Drive customer demand within a sales territory by being self-motivated and proactive
→Seek opportunities to support and mentor other pre-sales team members

Requirements

✓5+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software
✓Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) and programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#)
✓Working knowledge of UI development with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
✓Proficient in deploying applications to the Cloud with AWS
✓Experience with benchmarking, profiling, and performance tuning of Database systems
✓3+ years of software development experience
✓Excellent presentation and communication skills
✓A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
