About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our Finance team at MUBI, a global streaming service dedicated to elevating great cinema. This role will be pivotal in nurturing and evolving our financial operations as we continue to scale internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support and oversee the Accounts Payable (Procure to Pay) and Payroll functions end-to-end
- →Maintain and enhance financial controls across Procure to Pay and Payroll
- →Co-create and implement a company-wide Purchase Order (PO) system
- →Foster the ongoing development of Finance Operations as MUBI scales
- →Provide supportive leadership across finance processes
- →Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners
- →Monitor and refine key operational KPIs
- →Mentor and empower junior team members
- →Collaborate on smarter ways of working, guiding the team’s approach to automation and AI
Requirements
- ✓Experience in Finance within a multi-national environment
- ✓A deep understanding of finance operations with a track record of improving workflows
- ✓Proven experience in people-management, with a focus on mentoring
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- ✓Exceptional organisational skills
- ✓Inclusive and thoughtful communication skills
- ✓The ability to manage initiatives thoughtfully while collaborating closely with leaders
- ✓A recognised finance qualification (AAT, ICM, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience) and knowledge of the UK payroll tax system are welcome.
