About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role involves uncovering insights from complex datasets and working closely with business stakeholders to create production-ready data science solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- βTranslate customer pain points into clear analytical problem statements and solution architectures
- βDesign, build, and iterate end-to-end data science workflows from data ingestion to deployment
- βApply statistical analysis, machine learning, NLP, and other techniques to solve complex business problems
- βPerform model validation and justify model selection and performance
- βBuild scalable machine learning models for production systems
- βOperationalise analytics workflows using Python/R and distributed processing frameworks
- βDeploy and manage models using containerisation and orchestration tools
- βDesign and develop impactful dashboards and visualisations
- βPresent results and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- βWork with project managers and technical leads to provide status updates
- βContribute to data architecture and engineering decisions
- βMentor junior data scientists and peers
Requirements
- βExperience with Python or R
- βKnowledge of distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark
- βFamiliarity with containerisation and orchestration tools
- βStrong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning
- βExperience with NLP and other advanced analytics techniques
- βAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- βExperience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
