About the Role
Nearmap is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This role will contribute to the setup of budgets and forecasts and analyze operational performance against these financial plans.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the Commercial Finance Manager in engaging with senior leadership teams to prepare and execute to budget/forecast
- →Own the analysis of key cost drivers including capture costs, cloud computing costs, license/subscription costs, and headcount costs
- →Review and validate month-end accruals with the Financial Control team
- →Ensure consistency of data across all systems used for internal analysis
- →Prepare timely P&L commentary and internal analysis for the group FP&A team
- →Develop and maintain detailed financial models in Excel or Looker
- →Provide ad-hoc modelling assistance for project business cases
- →Develop reports in Adaptive (CPM), Looker (BI), and Excel to streamline stakeholder reporting
- →Drive improvements in reporting accessibility and information flow
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in financial analysis and budgeting
- ✓Experience with financial modelling and data analysis
- ✓Proficiency in Excel and BI tools like Looker
- ✓Knowledge of ERP systems such as Netsuite
- ✓Understanding of cloud computing and subscription cost structures
- ✓Ability to analyze large data sets and present findings clearly
- ✓Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
