About the Role

We are seeking a Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of our Southeast Asia B2B freight forwarding business segment. This role involves defining go-to-market strategies, developing logistics products, and driving revenue growth while managing commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• →Lead building and expansion of freight forwarding business in the region, establishing capabilities across different countries
• →Define key target industries, customer profiles, and geographic focus areas
• →Develop go-to-market strategy for penetrating new customer segments
• →Formulate action plans for cross-selling initiatives across the organization
• →Lead pursuit and negotiation of strategic potential accounts
• →Support marketing and acquisition efforts with Southeast Asia Sales Office
• →Assist leadership in launch plans and coordinate with operations, finance, and sales offices
• →Develop optimal logistics products and work with VP to drive commercial goals
• →Own B2B freight forwarding pricing strategy, including rate cards and customized deals
• →Work with pricing and operations teams on competitive pricing models for complex bids
• →Identify market trends and translate them into business growth opportunities
• →Manage commercial P&L and team sales performance
• →Design team workflow and roles and responsibilities
• →Implement and manage a CRM system to track the sales pipeline
• →Refine sales process to improve efficiency and customer onboarding
• →Monitor team performance and develop improvement plans
• →Drive revenue growth of all B2B freight forwarding products with budget accountability
• →Work with operations teams to optimize processes and drive cost savings
