About the Role
We are looking for a creative, human-centered Designer to join Octopus Energy Group in the UK. This role focuses on bringing the company's vision to life through innovative design solutions that make complex energy concepts simple and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with a talented team to deliver products and campaigns to market in record time
- →Collaborate with developers to build products and ensure designs work effectively in the real world
- →Conduct first-hand research to understand human needs, wants, and context
- →Explore design elements from concept to launch
- →Wireframe and communicate design concepts to developers

Requirements
- ✓1+ years of experience in a generalist design role covering UX/UI, product design, graphic design, visual design, or marketing
- ✓Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC suite
- ✓Knowledge of UX/UI, graphic design, and illustration
- ✓Understanding of customer experience, behavioral sciences, and marketing principles
- ✓Understanding of design principles, user experience, user interface design, and design systems
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn on your feet
- ✓Entrepreneurial instincts with a bias for action and a track record of rolling up sleeves
- ✓Passion for collaboration and communication
- ✓Interest in sustainability, green energy, and improving people’s lives
- ✓Bonus: Motion graphics or animation skills (After effects, SVGator, etc.)
