About the Role

We are looking for a GEO Content Specialist to join our team at Okta. This role focuses on executing content-focused Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies for Okta and Auth0, ensuring content is optimized for visibility and retrieval in the evolving landscape of AI Search/GEO/AEO.

Key Responsibilities

→Execute the strategy for structuring and optimizing content to promote content retrievability by LLMs
→Develop and refine content blocks to be machine-parsable and aligned with semantic density and emerging AI answer formats
→Maintain a working knowledge of how LLMs function, relevant KPIs, and content-related GEO best practices
→Utilize a data-driven approach to execute content tasks and identify content performance trends
→Collaborate with Content and Digital Strategy teams to ensure optimized content is published effectively

Requirements

✓4+ years of professional experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content strategy, with a focus on content optimization and/or content development
✓Understands how content is rewarded in both LLMs and modern-day search ranking algorithms
✓Familiarity with current GEO concepts and the role of LLMs in search
✓Working knowledge of SEO/AI Search platforms such as SEMRush, BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Profound, and Google Search Console
✓Proficiency in data analysis and insights gathering for content output and performance tracking
✓Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate content requirements and results clearly
✓Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar enterprise-level CMS
