About the Role
We are looking for a data-curious, detail-oriented Paid Media Intern to join our Digital Paid Media team at Okta. You will help manage real budgets across Google, Bing, and LinkedIn, learning the mechanics of digital advertising from building campaigns to analyzing ad performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Campaign Execution: Assist in the technical setup and launch of live campaigns across Google, Bing, and LinkedIn.
- →Creative Coordination: Manage creative assets, ensuring correct and up-to-date images and videos for every campaign.
- →Ad Copywriting & Auditing: Write and review headlines and descriptions to ensure they are clear, follow Okta’s brand voice, and stay within search engine character limits.
- →Data & Reporting: Pull performance data into spreadsheets to track key metrics like Cost per Click, Cost per Lead, and Conversion Rate.
- →Competitor Research: Analyze competitor ads and keywords to identify new opportunities for improving search rankings.
Requirements
- ✓Current Student: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or Communications preferred) with an expected graduation date of Dec. 2026 or May/June 2027.
- ✓Software Basics: Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and Google Slides.
- ✓Strong Writing: Ability to write clear and concise copy.
- ✓Analytical Mindset: Enjoy looking at data to find patterns and work comfortably with numbers.
- ✓Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in work, double-checking links and spelling.
- ✓Platform Curiosity: Basic understanding of the difference between paid and organic search results.
- ✓Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple small tasks and deadlines at once.
