About the Role
We are looking for a highly strategic and results-oriented Principal Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our retail trading platform at OKX, a leading crypto exchange. This role requires deep domain expertise in both cryptocurrency and traditional financial trading products to deliver a seamless, high-performance, and compliant user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- βDefine and articulate the long-term vision and product strategy for the consumer trading platform, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- βLeverage deep domain knowledge to understand customer needs, translating these insights into an effortless and intuitive trading experience.
- βDrive the entire product lifecycle from ideation and requirement definition through development, UAT, launch, optimization, and scaling.
- βOwn the strategy for liquidity parameters and fee structures, collaborating with market makers and institutional partners to optimize spreads, slippage, fill rates and conversion rates.
- βConduct comprehensive market and competitor research to identify innovative opportunities and ensure our trading system maintains a leading edge in the crypto market.
- βServe as the primary liaison and point of contact across engineering, product design, risk, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and business teams to ensure seamless execution and launch of products.
- βPartner closely with compliance and legal teams to deliver regulatory-sensitive launches, navigating requirements across major jurisdictions.
- βBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a collaborative culture of excellence and professional growth.
Requirements
- βMinimum of 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on crypto trading platforms, consumer trade products, blockchain/digital assets, or fintech
- βStrong understanding of exchange liquidity economics and risk frameworks, including pricing, spread, limit, tick sizes, leverage/position tiers, and fee strategy
- βDemonstrated ability to work directly with institutional clients, market makers, and vendor partners, exhibiting excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- βAbility to define and track clear success metrics and use data and analytics to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement
- βProven experience delivering regulatory-sensitive launches and partnering closely with compliance/risk teams
