About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer to join the 'Serve' team at Olo, a leading SaaS platform in the restaurant industry. This role involves designing and implementing complex systems for a dynamic web ordering platform that powers major restaurant brands.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement large-scale features and projects
- →Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior and senior engineers
- →Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to shape requirements
- →Ensure the implementation of high-quality, resilient, and scalable distributed systems
- →Lead troubleshooting and incident management efforts
- →Advocate for and implement improvements in development practices
- →Coordinate and lead cross-team technical initiatives

Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- ✓8+ years of experience in software engineering
- ✓Expert Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript and NextJS
- ✓Architecture & Design Expertise: In-depth understanding of architectural principles and patterns
- ✓Resilience & Performance Optimisation: Skilled in applying resilience mechanisms and performance tuning practices
- ✓Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure and services
- ✓Leadership & Cross-Team Collaboration: Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills
