About the Role
We are looking for a Service Designer to join Opencast, where you'll connect people, processes, and technology to improve service delivery. You'll work on complex projects, helping clients navigate essential forms and support employees with tools they use.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify and help solve clients' service problems
- →Investigate, define, and design end-to-end service journeys
- →Balance user needs, business needs, and technical considerations
- →Ensure work aligns with Opencast's quality, environmental, and information security policies
- →Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions
Requirements
- ✓Experience as a Service Designer across complex projects
- ✓Ability to analyse and synthesise complex information into actionable insights
- ✓Skill in conveying complex information using storytelling techniques
- ✓Experience designing artefacts to evidence existing and new service systems
- ✓Ability to design prototypes to test new service concepts
- ✓Experience designing and facilitating workshops and co-design sessions
- ✓Understanding of government service standards and GDS assessment process
- ✓Experience working in agile delivery teams
- ✓UK citizenship and continuous residence in the UK for the past five years for Security Check (SC) Clearance
