About the Role
BME is a family of service companies specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical solutions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to manage the full-cycle hiring process for our family of companies across the Midwest region.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers)
- →Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and hiring priorities
- →Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
- →Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews
- →Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and internal stakeholders
- →Assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit
- →Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- →Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process
- →Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
- →Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- →Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with trade schools, vocational programs, and technical institutes to build a strong pipeline of skilled talent
- →Partner with trade school career services, instructors, and administrators to promote employment opportunities
- →Coordinate and participate in career fairs, campus visits, information sessions, and hiring events at trade schools
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist
- ✓Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- ✓Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruiting tools
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
- ✓Strong organizational and time-management skills
