About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join the Credit team at Plaid. This role focuses on engaging with lenders to drive partnerships and sales, working with both prospective and existing customers to help them leverage Plaid's innovative credit solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify opportunities for Plaid solutions to deliver value with prospective and existing lending customers
- →Develop a book of high-potential engaged prospects and maintain a sufficient pipeline to support quota attainment
- →Own the end-to-end sales cycle and coordinate efforts from sales engineers and product specialists
- →Coordinate cross-functional resources to support a consultative sales motion
- →Manage pipeline and accurately forecast deal value and win probability
- →Develop deep understanding of Plaid solutions and apply this knowledge to help customers achieve their goals
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 7+ years in a quota-carrying direct sales role with strong track record of attainment
- ✓Excellent prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills with consultative sales approach
- ✓Working knowledge of APIs and desire to understand how Plaid works technically
- ✓Professional communication style with ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels without being perceived as overly sales-focused
