About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager, Payments to join Plusgrade and help shape the future of travel by creating new revenue streams through customer experiences. In this role, you will define product strategy and collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to bring creative solutions from conception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and maintain a multi-quarter roadmap for our global payments platform and APIs
- →Recognize new technology and market trends in the payments domain
- →Translate commercial payment strategy and risk requirements into clear product outcomes
- →Lead discovery and solution design with various teams to understand payment platform needs
- →Define detailed product requirements and API-level use cases covering payment flows
- →Own and prioritize the product backlog for payments-related initiatives
- →Drive stakeholder alignment and communication as a key point of contact for payments capabilities
- →Use data analytics to analyze payment solutions and flag weaknesses
- →Own and maintain payment platform documentation
Requirements
- ✓4+ years in product management or closely related roles with ownership of complex platform products
- ✓Comfort working with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data flows between multiple services
- ✓Strong technical and analytical skills to dig into metrics and logs
- ✓Proven track record leading initiatives that cut across multiple teams
- ✓Excellent communication skills to explain complex payment and platform concepts
- ✓Ability to balance reliability, security, and compliance with speed of delivery
- ✓Comfort operating in ambiguity, shaping strategy and scope
- ✓Strong ownership mentality with a bias toward iterating and improving the product
