About the Role
The Risk Management & Quantitative Research team at Point72 Asset Management is seeking a creative and analytical problem solver to join their team. This role involves conducting quantitative research to improve risk management, portfolio construction, and investment behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct risk model research to evaluate and enhance equity risk and factor models
- →Investigate portfolios or strategies to understand performance drivers and develop reports
- →Drive improvements in stress testing, Value at Risk, and risk guidelines
- →Develop innovative risk management approaches, tools, and analytics
- →Work with developers on risk management and performance analytics infrastructure
Requirements
- ✓Five or more years of experience in quantitative research or risk management covering equities investing
- ✓Strong background in statistics, math, and econometrics
- ✓Ability to manipulate and synthesize large data sets
- ✓High level of proficiency in SQL and quantitative programming (Python, MATLAB, R)
- ✓Intellectual curiosity and depth of skills for ad-hoc tasks and special projects
- ✓High-energy personality with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
