About the Role

We're looking for a People Operations Lead to join our Amsterdam hub. This hands-on role will serve as the face of the People Operations team locally, supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with Dutch regulations.

Key Responsibilities

→Serve as the subject matter expert in operationalizing labour laws and regulations in the Netherlands
→Ensure Miro maintains compliance with Dutch regulations, including reporting and government filings
→Support the People Help Portal by providing timely responses to HR questions
→Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities to improve People Operations efficiency
→Manage key People processes across the full employee lifecycle
→Maintain accurate HR records for Netherlands employees
→Collaborate with Payroll Team for accurate and compliant payroll runs
→Administer employee benefits programs in the Netherlands
→Drive continuous improvement in People processes and practices

Requirements

✓Comprehensive understanding of Dutch labour laws and regulations
✓Fluency in English and Dutch
✓4+ years of experience in People Operations or People Service Delivery
✓Track record of implementing AI, automation, or service delivery technologies
✓Experience with Workday and ticketing systems
✓Ability to manage day-to-day operations while driving projects
✓Cultural sensitivity and understanding
✓Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
✓Ability to translate legal requirements into simple guides
✓Experience with HSM permit extensions and complex visa types in the Netherlands (preferred)
✓Knowledge of labour laws in Denmark and France (preferred)
✓Previous experience with EOR vendors such as Remote.com (preferred)
