About the Role
We are looking for a Program Manager to lead and grow drone programs that demonstrate the breadth of our capabilities at Re:Build Manufacturing. This role involves managing large, sophisticated programs with high commercial value and technical complexity, employing resources from innovation, design, engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage profit and losses for large programs in our drone thesis
- →Build and drive program plans for highly sophisticated programs from initial requirements through manufacturing
- →Lead program feasibility studies, technology development, and transition to manufacturing
- →Partner with commercial market leads and finance leaders to develop market and customer financial assessments
- →Assess financial models to ensure program pricing is mutually beneficial
- →Work across teams to identify project dependencies and build detailed development cycle timelines
- →Drive programs to completion while maintaining budget, resource, and timeline constraints
- →Facilitate creative solutions to unanticipated events and demands
- →Facilitate regular communication between clients and site leads
- →Assist with internal process development and standardization for product deployments
- →Coordinate and track product certification efforts with regulatory bodies
- →Facilitate iterative product cost down efforts
Requirements
- ✓Bachelors of science degree in an engineering or technical field (electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering)
- ✓Ten+ years of full-time work experience in product engineering and/or manufacturing environments
- ✓Three+ years leading teams as a program manager or functional manager
- ✓Proven ability to influence others to work cooperatively and meet deadlines
- ✓Demonstrated success bringing technically complex programs or products to completion on-time and on-budget
- ✓Experience managing timelines, requirements, budgets, and metrics for technically complex products
- ✓Experience managing timelines for products subjected to regulatory certification
- ✓Demonstrated ability to navigate supply chains for ordering processes and lead times
- ✓Certifications in Program and/or Project Management preferred
- ✓Experience using project management tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, ClickUp, Asana, Confluence
- ✓Experience using PDM or PLM systems in an engineering setting
- ✓This role will require up to 25% travel. The preferred location for this role is Framingham, MA.
