Senior Data Engineer - Analytics and Visualization at Ridealso

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the ALSO backend team. This role focuses on driving technical excellence and architectural decisions with a strong focus on analytics, data modeling, and data visualization. You will own how telemetry and business data are transformed into trusted, scalable, decision-ready dashboards for ALSO’s flagship connected EVs.

Key Responsibilities

• →Design multi-level visualization experiences (exec → operational → deep-dive) and translate complex telemetry and business data into clear, intuitive visuals
• →Define visualization standards: metric definitions, charting patterns, UX clarity and own dashboards as long-lived products
• →Design and maintain analytics-layer data models (facts, dimensions, wide tables, semantic layers)
• →Partner with upstream engineers to shape event and telemetry schemas for downstream analytics
• →Define and enforce metric contracts across teams and implement automated data quality checks
• →Design pre- and post-pipeline validation frameworks and reduce metric drift and dashboard inconsistencies
• →Work cross-functionally and turn ambiguous business questions into concrete metrics and dashboards
