About the Role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to provide practical design solutions and support documentation to meet customer expectations. This role involves interpreting technical specifications and site survey information to create cost-effective and reliable designs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Produce practical design solutions based on technical specifications and site surveys
- →Create technical documentation including installation procedures, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- →Undertake surveys and measurements of equipment for customer sites
- →Provide design advice and interpret customer requirements
- →Estimate costs for design solutions
- →Liaise with sales to ensure adequate information for estimates
Requirements
- ✓5 years’ experience in design engineering
- ✓Mechanical engineering background with knowledge in other disciplines
- ✓Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- ✓Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD software (Solid Edge)
- ✓Ability to work as part of a team under tight time and cost constraints
- ✓Self-motivated with good practical skills and a thorough approach to work
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills
- ✓Proactive approach to problem solving
- ✓Good time management skills
