About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst - Economics to join SEEK, a leading online jobs marketplace in APAC. This role involves working with complex challenges that have a direct impact on people's lives, helping to evolve our business and reach new heights.
Key Responsibilities
- βSupport the production of regular data products including the SEEK Advertised Salary Index, monthly and quarterly labour market reports, and other labour market indicators
- βManipulate and combine large, high-dimensional datasets from multiple internal and external sources to generate labour market insights
- βWork with SEEK data across APAC to create new labour market indicators, reports and insights
- βEnsure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all economic data products through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring processes
- βAutomate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for economic reporting
- βDesign and develop visualizations and reports that communicate labour market insights effectively using tools such as R or similar
- βCollaborate with teams across SEEK including Corporate Communications, Strategy, Marketing, Finance, AI Platform Services, Commercial Excellence, and Investor Relations
- βDevelop and maintain models that support SEEK's labour market forecasting and scenario analysis
- βApply statistical and econometric techniques to understand economic relationships and predict future labour market trends
Requirements
- βExperience in data analysis and economic data interpretation
- βProficiency in R or similar data analysis tools
- βStrong understanding of statistical and econometric techniques
- βAbility to work with large, high-dimensional datasets
- βExperience in data visualization and reporting
- βStrong collaboration and communication skills
