About the Role
We are looking for a Java Developer to join Sopra Steria's JTech practice. This role involves working with large organizations and (semi-)government entities to provide customized technology and software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Upgrade a legacy Java application from version 8 to the latest LTS version
- →Migrate the entire OTAP environment from RHEL servers to Azure (AKS)
- →Provide expertise on the use of OpenShift
- →Convert Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to Azure Pipelines
- →Define steps to run the application in a Kubernetes cluster using Helm, Dockerfile, and Podman
- →Select and implement new frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus
- →Improve existing unit and integration tests
- →Advise the business on the security and stability of the application landscape
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with Java development
- ✓Knowledge of RHEL and Azure cloud platforms
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Familiarity with frameworks like Spring and Quarkus
- ✓Understanding of application security and stability
