About the Role
We are looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to join our Advertiser Sales team in Tokyo. This role involves building strategic partnerships with advertisers and agencies across Japan, helping clients leverage Taboola’s native advertising solutions to achieve measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify, pitch, and close new advertising deals with brands and agencies
- →Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and introduce them to Taboola’s platform
- →Manage a healthy sales pipeline and forecast business outcomes accurately
- →Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth campaign setup and delivery
- →Share insights with product teams to influence new features and improvements
- →Lead contract negotiations and ongoing relationship management across the Japan market
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience selling in the Japan market within a tech or online media environment
- ✓Strategic mindset with experience planning and executing effective sales strategies
- ✓Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to tailor pitches to client needs
- ✓Confidence in using data and analytics to guide decision-making and influence client outcomes
- ✓Proactive and driven approach to building pipeline, closing deals, and driving revenue
- ✓Collaborative attitude, partnering closely with internal teams across account management, marketing, legal, and product
