About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HIL/EGSE Test Applications Developer to join our HiL Engineering Team at The Exploration Company in Munich. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating automated test software applications to validate electronics across our verification and validation campaigns for our space orbital vehicle, Nyx.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain test automation software for board-level, equipment-level, and subsystem-level testing
→Define and implement hardware and software architectures tailored to specific test scenarios and HiL environments
→Develop LabVIEW-based applications for both desktop and real-time platforms
→Integrate and configure NI VeriStand as part of real-time test setups
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software into functional test platforms
→Support test execution, data acquisition, logging, and automated reporting
→Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture specifications, code documentation, and user guides
→Provide support for debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of test platforms

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
✓Proficiency in LabVIEW, including desktop and real-time application development
✓Hands-on experience with NI VeriStand in real-time test environments
✓Familiarity with NI TestStand for test automation and execution management
✓Solid understanding of test platform architectures, hardware/software integration, and real-time systems
✓Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with a structured and methodical approach
✓Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, drive initiatives, and deliver in a high-paced environment
