About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager to lead our central FP&A function at Trustly. This critical role will be responsible for providing reporting, strategic insights, and financial guidance to the executive team, driving the monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting process, and supporting key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Orchestrate the month-end management reporting cycle, partnering closely with Accounting to bridge the gap between "the close" and "the story."
- →Drive the monthly management reporting cadence, working with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and timely monthly variance analysis.
- →Own the forecast (and/or Risk & Opportunity) cycle, with inputs from business partnering teams, and interpreting the output against the company targets.
- →Coordinate teams to identify tactical "levers" to drive growth or cost reduction to course correct to achieve company targets.
- →Maintain/develop the management accounts infrastructure, including P&L structure and tools.
- →Run the annual planning process, from initial development and set up of appropriate tooling, reporting, and templates, to final Board outputs.
Requirements
- ✓The Architect: Proven track record of building financial processes from scratch in a fast-paced Fintech or SaaS environment.
- ✓Analytical Powerhouse: Advanced modeling skills and experience diving into databases (SQL/VBA) to find insights in data.
- ✓The Communicator: Commercial mindset with ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
- ✓Systems Thinker: Experience with BI tools (Quicksight/Qlik) and planning/performance management software.
- ✓Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics.
- ✓Advanced/Fluent English.
