About the Role
The Project Finance Director for Veolia Near & Middle East region is responsible for managing all financial aspects of development projects from inception through to operational handover. This key financial advisor role to Business Development teams reports directly to the Veolia Near & Middle East CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop comprehensive financial models for new projects and M&A opportunities
- →Perform detailed valuation analysis and assess financial returns under IFRS standards
- →Analyze and quantify risks associated with projects including operational, credit default, currency, and interest rate risks
- →Oversee M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration
- →Review and optimize financial and legal structuring of projects
- →Review and co-draft finance-related provisions in contractual documentation with Legal teams
- →Interface with HQ expertise departments and external advisors
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in financial modeling and valuation under IFRS standards
- ✓Strong understanding of M&A processes and project finance
- ✓Experience in risk analysis and management for development projects
- ✓Knowledge of bond requirements and project financing solutions
- ✓Ability to coordinate with legal teams on contractual documentation
- ✓Experience working with financial institutions and banking
- ✓Strong analytical and negotiation skills
