About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Verifone. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily bank reconciliations and cash receipt processes, contributing to smooth financial operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform daily reconciliation of bank deposits and cash receipt system entries for the bank accounts
- →Research and follow through on unreconciled items in a timely manner
- →Identify root causes for reconciling items and work with the department manager to implement process improvements
- →Review accounts receivable aging for accuracy and completeness
- →Assist with month-end closing and various yearly audits
- →Update process documentation and assist with the automation of manual processes
- →Build and maintain effective internal working relationships and support teamwork
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- ✓Approximately 1 year of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivables
- ✓Strong computer skills, with a good command of Excel
- ✓Detail-oriented, perfectionist, and proactive attitude
- ✓Ability to multitask and manage workload to meet deadlines
- ✓Fluent in English (mandatory)
- ✓Innovative thinking and ability to work independently with little guidance
