About the Role
The Financial Analyst, TV Networks will report to the Manager, TV Networks and serve as a key member of the Controllership Group within the TV Networks Group at Versant Media. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to learn about the entertainment industry while supporting financial close processes for major TV networks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the monthly and quarterly financial close process for the TV Networks organization
- →Prepare and post journal entries with a focus on linear distribution, advertising, and other revenue streams
- →Maintain and complete assigned Blackline account reconciliations
- →Support preparation and delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting packages for financial statements
- →Assist in maintaining and improving close documentation, reconciliation standards, and recurring processes
- →Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance activities
- →Collaborate across the broader Controllership & Finance organizations
Requirements
- ✓Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- ✓Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- ✓Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations
- ✓Familiarity with journal entries and revenue recognition
- ✓Understanding of SOX compliance requirements
