About the Role
We are looking for a Product Lead to join our Europe and UK regional team at Wise. This role is critical in preventing financial crime and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations. You will be responsible for improving our control framework and managing Key Risk Indicators to maintain our risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own compliance with regulatory obligations in Europe and UK to prevent financial crime
- →Ensure the effectiveness of the control framework used by Wise in Europe and the UK
- →Identify opportunities for enhancements to strengthen Wise’s control framework
- →Manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the region and address negative trends
- →Improve customer experience and operational scalability of controls
- →Work closely with other teams to ensure proper controls for new products and features
- →Customize global controls to address specific regional risks
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in complex product development in heavily regulated industries
- ✓Strong analytical ability to understand financial crime vectors and mitigating controls
- ✓Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and influencing team roadmaps
- ✓Ability to think broadly about problems and their solutions
