About the Role

World Wide Professional Solutions is seeking a Korean Translator/Project Coordinator to support a large-scale manufacturing construction project. This role combines translation expertise with project coordination to ensure smooth communication between Korean-speaking stakeholders and the cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

→Translate documents related to construction management, including technical documents, drawings, design documents, and communications
→Handle specialized documents such as construction contracts, specifications, building permits, and safety manuals
→Ensure consistent translation of specific terms across all materials
→Implement quality assurance processes for translations
→Provide simultaneous interpretation at business meetings and events
→Assist with administrative duties like report processing and record keeping
→Support other departments with language needs
→Provide cultural expertise and conduct tours for non-English-speaking visitors
→Maintain translation database using translation management software
→Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture

Requirements

✓Bachelor's degree in communications or linguistics preferred
✓Experience in construction, engineering of high-tech manufacturing facilities, or related background
✓Minimum five years' experience in the translation field
✓Familiarity with technical jargon in construction management
✓Native fluency in Korean preferred
✓Experience with stakeholder engagement and project management
✓Translation certifications (ATA, NAATI, etc.) preferred
✓Familiarity with cultural and professional contexts of Korea and English-speaking countries
✓Proficiency in translation tools and software
✓Knowledge of translation process, terminology, and localization techniques
✓Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills
✓Fluency in English and Korean
✓Ability to work under tight deadlines
✓Proficiency in MS Office Suite
