About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and develop innovative software solutions for federal government clients. This hybrid role involves designing and implementing complex software capabilities while collaborating with other engineers to meet client needs. The position requires working 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems
- →Work closely with other engineers to create software solutions that meet client requirements
- →Design enterprise APIs and RESTful web services
- →Develop using Microservices architecture and Object Oriented Programming paradigms
- →Participate in the agile software development lifecycle
- →Work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- →Utilize configuration management tools like Git, Nexus, and Maven
Requirements
- ✓Current Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance (TS clearance preferred)
- ✓U.S. Citizenship required
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- ✓Experience with Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (Spring, Guava)
- ✓Experience with Linux operating system
- ✓Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 1-2 days per week in Columbia, MD office
- ✓Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
