About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and develop innovative software solutions for federal government clients. This hybrid role involves designing and implementing complex software capabilities while collaborating with other engineers to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems
- →Work closely with other engineers to create software solutions that meet client requirements
- →Design enterprise APIs and RESTful web services
- →Develop using microservices architecture and object-oriented programming paradigms
- →Work in an agile software development lifecycle
- →Collaborate in a team setting while also working independently when needed
- →Use configuration management tools like Git, Nexus, and Maven
- →Travel to customer site in Fort Belvoir, VA 1-2 times per month
- →Work in a hybrid environment with 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office
Requirements
- ✓Current TS/SCI level U.S. Government security clearance with polygraph
- ✓U.S. citizenship required
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience with modern Java frameworks (Spring, Guava) and Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with Master's degree, or 9+ years with High School Diploma
- ✓DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification (Security+)
- ✓Strong working knowledge of Java-based software development
- ✓Experience with Linux operating system
- ✓Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills
- ✓Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
- ✓Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment
